RIKEN invites applications for the position of Chief Scientist to lead a new laboratory. Research at RIKEN is conducted in a way that goes beyond existing disciplinary boundaries, based on the comprehensive and interdisciplinary nature of RIKEN and on a spirit of creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the laboratory’s overall management and research strategy, directing research projects and contributing to more general aspects of RIKEN’s management and research planning activities from a medium- and long-term perspective.
