European Researchers’ Night Japan 2022

The next European Research Night will be held on December 15, 2022, at Waseda University in collaboration with Sciencescope, The French Students and Researchers Organization in Japan, The German JSPS Alumni Association (JSPS Club), The Association of Spanish Researchers in Japan (ACE Japon), and the Association of Italian Researchers in Japan (AIRJ).

The European Researchers’ Night Japan 2022 (ERN) is a flagship event of EURAXESS Japan and the above partners. It is designed as a platform for researchers, innovators, practitioners, and professionals from across Japan to showcase their latest research achievements, and explore collaboration and networking opportunities with other participants. At this event, you will hear presentations by European academics and professionals about “Society 5.0”, each talk featuring different perspectives and disciplines. Join us for a lively roundtable discussion and participate in the networking session, as well!

MORE ABOUT SOCIETY 5.0:

Japan has its particular challenges and Society 5.0 aims to tackle several of these by going far beyond the digitalization of the economy and permeating all levels of Japanese society. Society 5.0 is also depicted as an evolution in five societal stages: hunting, agrarian, industrial, information, and super-smart.
